A versatile solution for security

The A952 automation system for swing doors, developed by FAAC, stands out as a state-of-the-art product offering a wide range of applications for both indoor and outdoor use, ensuring uncompromising security and convenience.

Thanks to its innovative spring system, the A952 automation can be configured for both push and pull functions, depending on the installation type (sliding or articulated arm). This flexibility allows for the adaptation of the automation to various needs, whether it be standard applications, emergency exits, fire-resistant doors, or smoke evacuation systems, suitable for environments ranging from educational institutions, airports, hospitals, to hotels, residential buildings, and offices.

Additional features include spring opening even in the event of power failure, a mechanical coordinator for integrated double door closure, synchronized double door application, the SAFE FLOW/TOUCH FREE device enabling contactless entries, and a user-friendly programming display, making it the ideal solution for every application.

  • Compact dimensions: 73x150x715 mm.
  • Spring tested for over 1,000,000 cycles.
  • Maximum door leaf dimensions: 1600 mm width and 450 kg weight.
  • Maximum inertia: 130 Kg·m2, for both sliding arm and articulated arm configurations.

Three Patents and Two Certifications

FAAC A952 automation has  three FAAC patents:
    1. Variable reduction ratio for smooth and silent movement.
    2. Variable Ratio Pinion and Rack ensuring constant spring force throughout the movement.
    3. Soft Draw for adjusting the closing speed even during power failures.
and it’s compliant with:
  • European safety standards EN16005 (TUV certification for emergency exits).
  • Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) according to ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2.
